Just recently, I realized that it’s about time for me to appreciate and love my skin more. For the past years, I’ve been applying chemicals on top of each other, and it all seems so unhealthy and unnecessary. And so, I’ve decided to cut back on these products and search for better alternatives.
Luckily, I saw this local brand named Rraw PH that offers a line of plant-based and cruelty-free skincare staples. Read my review below.
I love these scrubs so much. Their flavors are tied w/ hormones and neurotransmitters that make us feel positive things. Thus, you’ll be able to get rid of bad vibes as you say bye to dead skin cells simply through scrubbing and rubbing. The subtle scent is so good and your skin will really feel soft, smooth and silky right after using it. I love pairing it up with my favorite shower gel; I’m telling you, it feels like my hands are gliding through my skin.
Available in Endorphin Vanilla, Dopamine Strawberry, Melatonin Pandan, Serotonin Cocoa and Adrenaline Lemon for only P 229.00 each, this scrub is my best bet. Exfoliate, honey. It’s good for you.
Truth be told: I ditched my falsies. Yes, eyelash extension really makes your eyes pop and gorgeous but then, it also makes your lashes shorter and thinner than ever once the fake ones started falling out. Not to mention, it’s too pricey to maintain on a monthly basis.
Well, this eyelash serum saved me from my horrible post-extension-lashes. True to its promise, it really speeds up hair growth. All thanks to the Omega 6, proteins and vitamins it has, I guess.
The serum can also be used as a light mascara or a finishing touch for the eyebrows. I prefer using it before bedtime, though, as I find it’s consistency too liquid. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this P 149.00 worth of eyelash miracle.
Since we’re already on the topic of serums, let me spill another secret.
I actually tried this product for curiosity’s sake but I ended up loving it. This facial serum is made from blending essential oils, such as sandalwood, rose, lavender, grapeseed, sweet almond, jasmine and Vitamin E. It fights breakouts, boosts radiance and protects the skin from the harmful damage caused by UV rays and pollution.
I usually just apply 2 – 3 drops to cover my whole face and neck before hitting the sack. Keep in mind not to overdo it as it will make your face sticky. You may choose a serum based on your skin type: normal, oily, and acne-prone.
No worries, it’s only P 349.00.
As the name suggests, it really does leave your face fresh. This spray can be used as a toner, a primer, and a facial mist. I mostly apply it after prepping up to help keep my makeup in its best shape. As you know, makeup and Manila don’t really go well together so this bottle comes in handy.
This all-in-one spray on Rose flavor is made from rose water, glycerin, rose oil and rose buds. You may also try the Lavender & Orange fusion for a more energizing and refreshing feeling. One bottle costs P 224.00 which may last for about a month depending on usage.
This bar contains two things I love most: honey and oats. Aside from hydrating and exfoliating naturally, it also suits my sensitive skin. I should know because my dermatologist aunt suggested I use an organic oat-based soap given my dry skin condition.
For only P 99.00, you may choose from Honey Oats, Coco & Coffee, Ocean, and Peppermint. Each of them boasts natural ingredients and promises to clean and nurture your skin.
This lip tint doubles as a cheek blush on. If you’re up for a natural pinkish peck look, then this is for you. However, if you’re just like me who feels bare without a lippie, this tint will serve as a great base for your red lipstick. Yay, for fuller and more kissable lips!
Not your shade? Not a problem. There are lots of available hues for you to choose from. Oh, did I mention that it’s only P 99.00 each? Such a steal, am I right?
Dry lips are a woman’s worst enemy. And just like our bodies, our lips deserve good old scrubbing, too. Well, this vegan lip scrub will do the job just fine.
I got mine in Tangerine, and I couldn’t be happier! This lip scrub is 100% edible, so you can just lick it off after scrubbing.
Time to bid goodbye to dry, flaky and rough lips, and say hello to healthy ones for only P 59.00. Love your lips and let them look luscious!
Working overtime, partying all night or just spending hours scrolling on your phone?
Whatever it is, it’s never a good reason to keep those unflattering eye bags. Look no further because this tea butter will help you get rid of these and will even prevent the appearance of under eye wrinkles.
Rraw PH’s tea butter is made from green tea and shea butter. I personally find its scent relaxing, and while I’m not yet 100% sure if it works since I still stay up really late, I think it’s a good try for P 299.00.
Seriously, I’ve never thought waxing at home could be this easy and hassle-free. Ever since I had this knead-type cold sugar wax, I didn’t have to visit the waxing salon again.
On top of that, I got to save a few bucks too! It’s only P149.00 which is just an equivalent of one underarm waxing sesh, I think.
This spring wax will surely get you ready for spring (or summer). But hey, if you’re not into this sort of thing or if you believe that waxing is just another ridiculous expectation imposed on women, you go, girl!
So far, I’m really impressed will all these organic skin care products. I highly recommend the ones I’ve tried and tested but of course, check out which works best for your skin and your needs for best results!
